How firm is it?

Does it sleep hot?
No — this is one of our coolest beds. The open coil core lets air move through it, and the gel-infused foams pull heat away instead of trapping it.
How long until it's ready to sleep on?
It expands within a few hours of unboxing and is ready the same night. Give it a full 24–72 hours to reach its complete shape and let any new-mattress scent air out.
What base does it work on?
Platform beds, slatted frames with gaps under 3 inches, box springs and adjustable bases all work well. You don't need a box spring — a solid, supportive surface is all it needs.
How do I care for it?
Rotate it head-to-foot every three months to keep the wear even. Spot clean only, and a mattress protector will keep it fresh for years.
